I'm debating on ordering tix for Soundgarden Wed. Night 2 of 2(May 8) at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Is there anyone on here that has seen them live and could convince me to spend a couple hundred bucks for GA fix to see them? Any reviews of the Tabernacle from anyone???

They put on a fantastic show in Minneapolis. Played for close to 3 hours, sounded great.

I'm only a casual fan of these guys. Always like them, but never really listened to them in heavy rotation. Caught the in DC and the show was one of the best I've seen in awhile. Do it, you won't be disappointed.

  • I could only see one of the three recent NYC shows due to the flu but it was amazing to say the least. I think the Tabernacle is a relatively small venue which is typical for this tour and a great way to see them. Great sound and setlists.. both new stuff and old gems.I'm going to two more shows on this second leg so I say.. don't miss it ..you won't be sorry.

  • Thank you for the responses. My wife is bitching about all the money we are gonna shell out for the Wrigley trip. Guess I will have to do a little soul-searching!

I saw Dream Theater and Queensryche at the Tabernacle many moons ago. It is small, but a great venue. If you stand in the balcony, be prepared to rock....literally. The balcony felt like it may crash at any minute. This show should be great. I want to catch this one, but my wife wants to catch the Alabama Shakes at Sloss Furnace. Decisions, decisions! We' also need to watch our expenses due to our trip to the Wrigley show. Best of luck.
  • pearl jam needs to do bigger tours, and matt forget about soundgarden, soundgarden cant sell out arenas they not that popular anymore, i want to see them cause i never seen them before, but i heard they only ok live they put on a good show, but its no pj, pj is on a different level

Going on the 8th. Lived here for 7 years and haven't been. Heard nothing but good things about the venue and Soundgarden.
