My girl and I were the only ones who were not aware they were taking a picture. I don't know what we were looking at, but I have my damn tongue sticking out from my lips like an idiot and she looks dazed and confused.I have a gray PJ shirt on with the saw blade and hers is dark blue. Hard to miss us, we look hilarious. It's embarrassing really, I second guessed even putting this pic up.

Absolutely hilarious man! I am literally 6 people down from you to your right. I'm the dude wearing the tan Stones shirt and a visor looking into the camera with a dazed and "my body is in fucking pain right now" look on my face.
What a night. I've been extremely lucky with PJ shows thus far - my buddy and I won lottery 9th row front and center at Alpine on Night 1 and were rail right in front of Mike here in Atanta. My buddy who flew in for the show with me called Why Go as the opener - which was fucking awesome by the way. Such a high energy show, loved the opening 3 songs lacing into Why Go > Save You > Animal. No joke, I had already lost my voice and it was gone after Animal.
DUDE!!! Im right behind you...your head is actually blocking me....backwards black hat and sunglasses.....niceeee!!!

LOL - dude I guarantee we probably HAD to exchange some high fives during this show! I was high fiving everyone within a 2 foot radius of me all night long!
I remember the pain of standing there all day really hitting me during Ludacris and just wanting everyone to get the fuck off the stage and get to PJ. Garbage was the best opening act out of everyone by far though.Bristow, VA - 5.13.10

I see you bud. Well, at least you don't look anywhere near as foolish as I do. I had a feeling Why Go would open, especially since they played Interstellar into Corduroy after Oceans in Deluna. It was most likely the best way to open the show, I doubt any other song would have worked for the crowd any better (even Go). People can bitch about the setlist by what they see only on paper and haven't even listened to the boot, but Ed did well crafting a set that held the attention and energy a large audience of, I'm sure, casual fans. He almost lost them with Know Your Rights (which my girl had only heard maybe once or twice and she loved it!), but that was the only moment. Not to mention, I thank Ed for not being too predicable and making the set less respectable and more standard; no Last Kiss (marked off last minute), Just Breathe, or Daughter.
Yeah, the first three songs clearly had the most potency of the whole show. I was afraid that Stone's guitar rig dying right before the interlude of Why Go would really hurt the song on the bootleg, but it didn't. I didn't even hear it die or fade at the show, I just saw he was having some issues. It wasn't until I came home and read reviews that I found out the rig had basically died. I think Jeff's bass kept the song sounding full and I believe they may have turned his volume up when they saw Stone was having issues, at least it kind of sounds that way on the boot. What's your thoughts on Save You from ATL? At the show I knew Ed came in late, but at least he started the first verse correctly lyrical wise. He had to improvise on a very small portion of the lyrics after, but even at the show it didn't feel like a major screw up. It is easily the least tight song on the entire show and the only true noticeable at all mess up (except for the slight pop in Ed's voice towards the end of Small Town, but that's just me being too critical)
Highlight of the night for sure was the opening three songs and the energy at it's best. They killed it that night - absolutely rocked 67,000 people. I remember yelling at everyone beside me all night how they were on fire. Such a great night in a great city that I wish I could've explored more, was such a short weekend.
Yeah I remember seeing Stone having some issues with his rig during Why Go and I could tell it was a bit lacking during the show, but that Why Go was electric. When they first started blistering into the opening notes the electricity in the crowd was nuts. I hear you on the set list, and I was fully expecting the festival type of set - which was Ed doing what he does best, knowing who they're playing for and creating the best set list for it. You could definitely tell they were rushing through as many songs as possible though, knowing they only had 2 hours of stage time. They playe 27 songs in 2 hours! The encores were hardly even 5 minutes of a break. I'm not the biggest fan of Rearviewmirror, but that was one of the better performances of that song in recent memory I thought.
Next time I listen to the boot I'll be sure to listen before Amongst The Waves the dude in the crowd "You're damn right!"Bristow, VA - 5.13.10

Wasnt this thread about quality of 2010 bootlegs? You guys are soon going to find long lost cousin with each other.
Going back to the original theme, I am a fan of MSG 2010 bootlegs. Especially MSG 1, the setlist drives me crazy, it is my so called "go to" bootleg. I never thought there was a problem with sound of quality, but I dont count myself any expert on this. I hope this sound quality problem for you doesnt distort completely the pleasure of listening them. FOr me, both these MSG 2010 are like, PJ is teaching how to make live music.Arnauld69 wrote:Very disapointed by sound quality of New York MSG 2 2010 bootleg :(
Is this the same for all 2010 bootlegs ?
2009 boots have better sound quality and 2011 boots are just great !What's your part, who you are?
2012: Arras, Berlin 1-2
2013: Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires
2014: Milano, Trieste, Vienna, Berlin
