Pearl Jam VS Ames Bros Limited Edition

edited February 2013 in Lost Dogs
Hey there,

A few years ago when these books came out, I bought one from 10C and wasn't positive I got it before it sold out, so I bought one from Ames, as well.

Needless to say, I do not need two, and would love to sell it to someone who would appreciate it as much as me. It is still in the package that it was mailed to me in. Make me an offer...

See ya'll in Wisconsin...

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about the limited edition version... the original cost was $200. I doubt they'll take $25.

It had an orange cover, slip cover, extra pages, mylar, and 3 prints... If they ARE just talking green cover, those were hardly limited, eh? :)

I bought an orange one and sold it last year. Didn't get much more than the original price... think it was actually $225 with shipping originally. Looks like a cool book though if you got the money!

Its orange. It was around $200 when I bought it a few years back...I'd love to be in the position to be cool enough to hand it over for 25 bucks and an extra, but I can't.

You'd be better off naming the price you want for it if you're going to advertise it here mate.

Honestly, I can see you wanting to make your money back or whatever. But you're charging $25 more than it originally cost. Or more like $12, but still. You'd be better off cutting some losses and selling it for at least $150. You'd be giving someone on here a deal and still making some of your cash back.

I'm not trying to make money off it...just trying to make this trip to Wisconsin easier (I'm out of work) and make another fan happy. I'll take what I can get, that's why I initially said to make an offer...I pulled the $225 from another post on Lost Dogs from a guy who was selling his collection--that was the price he had posted, so I did too...

I think the OP is being fair and would probably accept a fair offer.

    Someone should buy this.

$225 is a completely reasonable offer... seems kind of a lowball bargain if you ask me. If I remember, shipping was $20-25 on these when they came out. He's practically asking COST for it, for an item that has been sold out for years, and if you wanted one, you'd probably have to spend MORE than that.

Might not be the best time to sell it since everyone's saving up/spending on PJ20, but I hope you sell it, and no more bitching about his starting price! :)

If I was selling mine, it'd be asking for more than that. Fair play to him. Hope it sells. SmartyJones, check your PM's dude.
