Just started listening to this album today, not all the way through yet. Liking it so far.
The woman's voice sounds so similar to Lisa Hannigan on a few of the songs to me.No time to be void or save up on life, you gotta spend it all.0 -
this is a good fucking band...cant get enough of this jam:

Yeah, I am jumping all over this indie folk band wagon. I like this song (though overplayed on radio), I like the Lumineers and The Head and the Heart. But mostly I am digging Mumford and Sons deep cuts (again radio songs over played). But, yeah these guys are good and are from Iceland which is cool.Springfield 4/6/94, Boston 4/6/94, Hartford 10/2/96, New York 9/11/98, Hartford 9/13/98, Mansfield 8/30/00, Boston 9/28/04, Reading 10/1/04, Quebec City 9/20/05, Boston 5/24/06, Hartford 5/13/06, New York 6/25/08, Hartford 6/27/08 Philadelphia 10/31/09, Hartford 10/15/10,

Don't know how much the Chicago show but the Dallas and Austin shows come out to over $40. That seems like a lot for a band with just one album. Is that the going rate for bands like these now? Alabama Shakes are also charging $40 for the show here, which is why I'm not going. I'd like to check them out, I'm just not sure if it's worth the price. With only one album how long can they really play?2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -

I can't stand this band or the female singer. Her voice just annoys me and that song, fuck, enough already with it! Just my opinion.0 -
Undecided. I'll have to give this cd a second listen. And so you see, I have come to doubt

With all the bullshit charges, tix ended up being like $43 each. A little steep, but it should be a good show.0 -
I saw these guys last night in Birmingham UK and they were incredible! Definitely worth the every penny paying to see them!
Hope a second album isn't going to be a few years away!0 -
Got to see tonight's show at Revel in Atlantic City. Picked up tix on stubHub for $9!
The social hall holds around 1000 people and there could not have been more than 300 people there.
It was definitely a reflection of the venue...not the band. They were very good, but a big too sleepy for me.
I am looking forward to a deeper catalog out of them because they have some very catchy tunes.
I really enjoyed "lake house" and "six weeks" along with their popular songs.9.29.96, 8.28.98, 9.1.00, 7.5.03, 9.30.05, 6.1.06, 6.19.08, 6.20.08, 6.24.08, 10.27.09, 10.28.09, 10.30.09, 5.20.10, 9.3.11, 9.4.11, 9.2.12, 7.19.13...

Wow. Shocked you got tix for that cheap and the venue was so empty. That place must be a dump. They sold out the Aragon in Chicago a couple weeks ago and that holds like 4K.
Definitely agree with looking forward to when they have a deeper catalog to play.0
