How does 10C know if a clubber sells tix?

NO - I AM NOT SELLING MINE AND NEVER WILL!

But i saw some posts about ebay & CL having 10C tix listed for sale
- I know 10C doesnt allow selling for profit and threatens to revoke membership if caught - but how would they catch the person - how active are they in purusing these guys? Do these guys get caught?

Seeing ads on places that people are saying they are selling them and just hope they get nabbed!

    Sounds like ur looking for 2 things.... Need to buy a ticket from a club member and hoping one pm's u or someone gives u the path on where to go and buy ten club tix..... OR....the opposite, on how to sell them without being caught. Otherwise why ask such a stupid question?

    there is no 10c tix listed at ebay or CL

    if you see one there sent the link to 10c.they will take it from there

    I once had an extra pair of 10c tickets for the 3rd row on the floor and couldn't sell them - finally got 1/2 of face for them - so you never know!

    Nope - i have my 2 from the lottery and wifey and I are psyched to go and cannot wait for it to get here. Hotel booked and watching airfare and fact gathoring on what to do when we get in town.

    I have posted and read more posts in the last 2 weeks than i have in the last however many years so i am not up to speed on all the ins and outs of the 10c - I pay my dues (except for one stupid lapse where i lost my good number) and enjoy the benefits very much.

    I have seen posts about people mentioning this topic but never understood it completely.
    If you dont like the question, dont reply - why waste your time?

    10C members can just pick them up and sell them day of outside the venue, I'm sure this must happen and nobody would ever know unless you followed the person around when they pick up the ticket

    That was really why i asked - how do they track it? seems like a great idea to not allow it - but i have to imagine there are different levels of 10c'ers - the serious obssessed fans - to the casual just in it for tix fans -

    I guess if you have the balls to list your tix as 10c tix - you take the chance of the person who meets up with you to buy them bing someone with 10c ?

    anyways - just curious.

    There really is no way of knowing. I would be very suprised if 10c brought a rep to stand by the 10c window and make sure they are not resold. They way that 10c does it though allows the amount of resellers to decrease though as they can not have enough time to post online through those broker sites, so it must be in person. But it woulld be very difficult to follow someone after they leave the 10c line to make sure they didn't resell them. There is no real way to stop this, but hope if you are 10c you are a real fan and use the tickets or give them to a fan instead of trying to be in here to profit.

    In the past it's mostly been eBay/Craigslist postings that have stated they were Ten Club/fan club tickets. The listings come down and supposedly they'll terminate the membership if they are able to back out who it is through the info provided. If Ten Club really is the only way to get GA tickets for Wrigley, that would also be a red flag.

    Nobody here has gotten their 10club tickets, so they surely are not flipping them. The brokers who have 10club numbers have been flipping those tickets for years. This board doesnt need a bunch of snitches(I HATE SNITCHES). Let the 10club deal with the problem. Tickets are no different than posters, hoodies, vinyl, etc. Every one of those items says NOT FOR RESALE, but yet every single person on the Lost Dogs Forum, openly makes a PROFIT on this merchandise. The GA tickets that are being listed as 10club tickets, are no doubt BROKER tickets. Let the 10club deal with the Brokers.

    brokers dont need memberships...they cant list 10c tix for sale..

    they do just fine buy a public sale tix for 50-70 and sell it 500$

    Its just my opinion, and many others here will disagree with me. But why should tickets be viewed any different from other merchandise? Maybe I am wrong, I dont know.

    People here are FURIOUS that they were shut out the last 3 weeks. I have witnessed one person here, basically have a Complete Nervous Breakdown, due to the fact he doesnt have tickets. The behavior here over the last 3 weeks has been sad, comical, and flat out scary.

    And what does that have to do with your thread?

    Well I know someone like myself or anybody who dsnt post as much as others do/ or being newer 10c members would get flamed for asking this question. Just throwing my two cents... But sorry for my RUDE response, I now know the reason for ur asking...
