I think the shipping rates are great !!!!! As long as I can remember the shipping rates to Canada were absolutely ridiculous. For years i've been paying through the nose for shipping and now it seems we are getting much more reasonable shipping prices.
    Thank you 10club!

To the OP : it's simple really, if you don't want to pay the shipping rate than don't buy the item.
It's a decision many of us international fans have struggled with for a long time.

    I'm one of those guys!!
International customers have been exploited for some time now.
We still have to wait 4-5 weeks to get anything. :)

That's the trouble when ordering from overseas, you generally don't get a choice. From 10c I've had deliveries from FedEx, USPS and DHL but none of the charges make sense. A set customs fee would be something that I'd graciously accept but the charges make little sense to me no matter how they break down. How can a poster be free from fees one day and then next time be $26 from the same courier service? It seems very hit or miss. I understand taxes fine and don't shirk paying them. All I'm saying is I don't get how it can be so inconsistent?

In Canada if something is shipped to us via USPS it gets handed off to our government mailing system called Canada Post. There is no consistency at all as to which packages they charge tax on and which they don't. They probably don't have the resources to inspect every one. It's why I like things that ship that method. There could be similar reasons as to why some of your packages get and taxed and other's don't.

I would look at the bill and see the breakdown of the charges (just so you know how much the courier is taking). It doesn't hurt to google the local laws in your country regarding imported goods.

Yeah, that is a very valid last point. I do intend to look a bit more into it starting with my local MP constituency. 10c reply to my email was a copy and paste of the export taxes in the terms and conditions which to be fair is all they can do.

Just ordered 2 posters being shipped to Ireland, cost $6.10.

I just checked. 2 posters shipped to a USA address... $11.65.

This is crazy... And nobody will even address it?

They have said a few times that they are working on it. How hard they are working on it and when we can expect a resolution remains a mystery.

Of course, the best option any of us have to expedite a solution to this is to stop buying. Don't buy anything from 10C until they fix the shipping. Impact to their bottom line will bring about change.

Yep. Done and done. But, I'm guessing there's enough whine and buy anyway that they don't notice folks making wise decisions.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

It's funny, the band that tells us the people have the power to change the world....yet it;s fan club members don't even have the power to change ridiculous shipping charges. And then they call us names to boot.

They only care when its someone else putting surcharges on things. Maybe, Stone should testify before Congress about his fan club's shipping charges.

Having said that, 10c ships to Europe with the cheapest shipping available(non-registered, non-insured). One time the postman must have crushed the tube by standing on it and fitted it through my mailslot! :fp: Luckily that time it was a scratch and dent poster.

Can't help but bump this thread today - LBC vinyl $5.99, but shipping in the US is $7.25. C'mon, man!!

What gives with the ridiculous shipping charges? I thought SLH said they were addressing this sometime last year?

No one cares is right, and that is the problem.

Cool picture. I bet you feel pretty clever for stealing it from someone else and posting it. Sweet work.

Yes, it can. They can spray it both directly...and indirectly. Also, they can use different spraying methods. Pretty cool if you ask me!
