Who can get me into Wrigley?

I feel so discouraged. Denied the 10 Club lottery and denied at tickets.com. I was in the Virtual Waiting room an hour before tickets even went on sale. I did eventually get in but wasn't allowed to even buy 1 ticket, let alone 4. If anyone has it in their hearts to help me out I would be forever grateful. In need of 4! Or anything really. Maybe I should see if Wrigley Field is hiring. Ha! Thanks! Jamie

same thing happen to me didnt win 10c lotto then get fucked with the waiting room bs , like anyone outside chicago now about that website have that ticketmaster dont have that that was bs

but anyway i saw some GA floor tickets for sale on stubhub for $99,000 i wonder if it gonna lower before the day of show? :fp:

    oh boy..back to drinks

  • wtf is the deal with stubhub anyway? if you wait until day of show are the prices on there r eally cheap or do the people that try to sell them alot of them local people and then they go to wrigley and scalp them if they dont sell on stubhub?

the way some of the prices have been set on stubhub for wrigley it almost like the people selling the tickets dont want them sold, like GA floor i see is 99,000$, and then anything on floor is no cheaper than $700, and then all the good lower section seats are atleast $700 a piece.

this is a big show, and the face value of the tickets are what like $85 or something, so i can see triple price maybe around $250 for good seats, but who the fuck is gonna pay 700 or $800?

i feel like at this point i can show up to wrigley the day of the show and find a good seat for like $250 or less because people dont want to get stuck tickets, but why the fuck is the overcharging on stubhub about they actualy gonna sell tickets at those prices i dont think they will????
ebay is almost as bad alot of shit going for $500, have to think i can get better deal at venue?

i only buy off scalpers 2 times ever, both times basketball games, once when carmelo anthony won the national title year in east regional final, i got sweet seat for $150 near floor, and face was like $70 i think, so guy just wanted to get rid of it was really good seat

then i got a boston celtic playoff game 6 for east finals vs nj when nj won that game,a nd got a good seat for about $150 too that time when i think ticket was vae for like $80

so it seems if you show up day of event you can get a good seat from a scalper for not a ridiculous price, i never tried it for concert though, only for sport events but must be pretty much the same thing? get a good deal that way rtather than try on stubhub?
  • honestly what probably would work at wrigley is its not used to concerts, how often do they get a concert once a year at most? isnt most of the outside part of wrigley where you enter the building only fenced off with chain length fence and nothing else? that shit would be easy to break down, i went there once to baseball game along time ago if i remember right that the place that has the funny kind of fence on the outside, itn ot as secure as other mlb parks? couldnt people just break it down, or am i thinking of another mlb venue i been to alot of mlb stadiums only 1 time

The reason scalpers don't usualy lower prices and they don't mind getting stuck with the tickets is because they look at it like gambling or playing the stock market. They wager the price of the ticket to make tripple or more of their money. With all the "pop" bands they make so much money on those tickets from mommy and daddy making their little girl happy that they can afford to try and hit a home run on special shows like PJ at Wrigley.

It's not quite the same, but you should look into the rooftop seats. They sell them for baseball games and I know they were sold for the Springsteen shows last year as well. Like I said, you wouldn't be "in" Wrigley, but it's a helluva lot better than nothing at all. Hope it works out for you.

I am amazed at the prices people are paying.
200s are going for $300+ and people are paying top dollar for field or GA

Just wait. There will be plenty of tickets to be had.

I'm still looking for a ticket! Anyone have someone back out or plans come up? My friend and I got tickets to the fan club bbq today. If I don't have a ticket before then I'm praying I'll find one there! Thanks in advance! Message me! :)

just an FYI most venues re-release tickets the day of the show due to the tickets the band and its staff have on hold for every show and its the ones they don't end up needing.... hopefully some of you can get these :-)
