Advice on how to resolve a trade gone bad?

    I agree with the people here. You've done everything you could and way way more than most people would. Naming names isn't something that should be done lightly as there are different sides to every story. You have moved with the necessary caution, and pointing him to this thread is more than enough of a warning as to what will happen.

    It's always a shame to see transactions end this way, but thankfully it's very rare. Don't let it color you in the future!

    I did hear from the person today in a very short PM with a proposed solution-to hand deliver thier own copy of the poster to us on Friday, which I said no to for a few reasons. That does not work for us. I proposed back and heard nothing else. Money in the paypal or a working tracking number are the only things that might get me to let up.

    I am waiting until I get home from work to discuss with Stephen on how we want to proceed. Whether its he or I physically typing something on this thread, the messages are from us both. Personally I feel about ready to just give up and post the name though.

    With my feelings confirmed by Stephen, so here goes.

    Many of you are going to try and make excuses or defend this person, I already anticipate that and just want to say ahead of time: nothing that can be said will change our minds about what transpired in this deal, so if your goal is to change our minds, im sorry but it won't happen.

    Our advice is to steer clear of any trades/deals/purchases and sales with "of.the.girl"
    At the very least, insist she fulfill her aide of the deal before you lose out.
    Sheila, I wish we could have resolved this another way.

    Her old name was on there, Don contacted me after seeing the thread and I requested it be taken off. I don't know exactly how he handles it.

    If you really want to pay me back. Buy me a couple of beers in Chicago. But other than that don't worry about it. It's what we do. I seem to remember asking you for just a sticker when you went to Europe and you sent me two stickers and a button that everyone loves. Also the gift card for Ringo and Snowball come on now. But if you feel you have to pay me back in some way then a beer would be swell. I also accept J's ;)
