    He wore himself out lest semester... took Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Linear Algebra in the same semester... killed himself trying to get A's the whole time... stayed up for days at a time living on coffee.

    Now he's trying to convince his parents to send him to music college and he wants to do nothing but write music all the time.

    But I read a study once somewhere that said that drop outs have rather good chances of finding a good job. They have almost the same qualities as graduates, but are "cheaper" because they don't have the title.

    Edit: Upon further reading what you wrote before, I kind of feel for him :( I hope he will find a way of doing what makes him happy.
