on the MSN homepage there is a survey that asks:

"Do you feel God plays a role in the outcome of sporting events?"

Yes, I do >> 24 % (96,392 votes)
No, I don't >> 71 % (290,351 votes)
I'm not sure >> 5 % (23,298 votes)

    And of course they had to put Ray in some sort of baptismal/praying pose on the front.

    I don't have and opinion of Lewis. But in my mind the image I always have of him is in the orange jumpsuit in Fulton County court. Is it fair probably not but that's what happens.

    no of course not. if he or she did how could you explain the NY Giants winning 2 super bowls in the past 4 years and all the titles in all sports Boston has won over the years. Surely he or she would be punishing 'those' people :lol:

    as for ray lewis it's sickening how they are trying to portray him these days.

    I don't know about the outcomes but for sure god plays a roll in a big catch, or run in football and I know that god is all about the Grammy Awards.

    I give him credit for making it a two-way street unlike 99.999% of other sports stars that give credit to him only when they win.

    It would also require them to come to the conclusion that if they lose, God likes the other team more than their team. It's easier to say that God is too busy to mess with sports than to deal with the idea that God likes the Redskins more than the Cowboys.

    No I don't think God has a role in the outcome of sports. I think those who thank God after games are just thankful they survived through games without permanent injury or death. I would love to see sports without any injuries but we know that's not ever possible. Injuries are just part of sports, it sometimes determine the outcome of games and events more so than anything spiritual like God.
