"An Evening With"......Finally!

I've been in favor of this for years. 2 sets of PJ. No opener. Hopefully this
continues for the full tour. So much better in my opinion. Give the band and fans
a chance to recoup, let the excitement build for the second set. This will make
for a more energized second part of the show. Love it!

"An Evening With" does not mean two sets. I would expect a show in the 3 hour range if they aren't having an opener. Hopefully you are correct though.
Yup. And as much as I love the no opener...I think it's really great that most of the bands that open end up haivng great success. It's like a springboard for their careers. MMJ, Black Keys, Kings, and Band of Horses come to mind recently.

Ed "ok everyone stay put, next up is a little band called PJ, I hope you like them"
Then the main set, 3 hour set with 4 encores
Same thing for Chicago 2 and 3
I liked it better when they called them ''programs'' instead of ''sets'' back in the 50's
If it's anything like that show people will be in for a great night.

Didn't even think about that. Why would they not want to take a 20 min. break?
I think we should start a petition. Lol. One would think the band would totally be on
board for this. It's not like playing one long set is doing us any favors or anything.
Everyone benefits from a set break.

Yah the '06 gorge shows didn't have presets nor did they clock in much past two hours. Which kind of sucked cause they did that in '05. I've oftened wondered if the insanely hot weather kept much shorts. The band looked like they were sweating buckets.
