That scares me, but failing that, I'll just follow the first PJ shirts I see to the wherever they're drinking.shep wrote:uninnocent- wrote:I can't see myself not being there.
I can... just like the loose moose in toronto, the place will probably be blocked by about 3 in the afternoon
that being said, I'll try to drag my ass there early...

For real tho of course there will be plenty of parties...really just wanted to do this for my friends and people that may be solo or just looking to get together with other hardcore fans.
Define hardcore fans
I have 6 10C members coming down Thursday. They range from 5-27 shows. I think it wold be cool to meet all of you. I know they are PJ freaks as much as I am.

You'll be there man. I wouldn't worry about not getting 10c tickets. I would say the chances are slim to none. Regardless, I would say the tickets allotted for 10c members for this show are A TON.

Count me in if this is indeed going to be the pre-party spot. I thought I read on here somewhere about an official Wishlist party possibly coming into being, no? I also nominate Murphy's Bleachers on the corner of W. Waveland Ave. and N. Sheffield Ave (behind centerfield of Wrigley) as a fun spot, or at least the final cheaper drink spot before heading on in. This place is always crazy packed and fun before Cubbies games. I hit it up before a Cubs day game winner over the Red Sox last June and had a blast there. Plus it's a pretty big space with both indoor and outdoor areas. It might even be the closest bar to the GA entrances around the outfield walls. Just a thought? Any natives agree?

Murphy's Bleachers is a historic Chicago sports bar located across the street from the entrance to the Wrigley Field bleacher section, at the corner of Sheffield and Waveland Avenues. We are nationally known as the place to hang out before, after and during Chicago baseball games for fans, players and celebrities. I'm sure there will be a wishlist party too... But not everyone can (or wants to) go to that. There will be plenty of parties to choose from!Mamasan Bren wrote:Count me in if this is indeed going to be the pre-party spot. Don't know an official concert capacity, but the capacity for a ball game is somewhere around the tune of 41,000 last I saw. I can only imagine because of the magnitude of this show (significance of lack of playing in the US the past couple of years, it's Chicago at Wrigley Field for cyring out loud with a big market for PJ fans, the first major show of the 2013 tour and lack of overall playing in the US in the aforementioned sentence) and how big the place is......I would certainly hope, especially with Theo being a big PJ fan, that they were able to work out a deal where the 10c was allotted a major number of tickets for this show. In my opinion, and what I hope, is that this will be a MONSTER 10c only feeling kind of show. There is a big reason why 10c tested the new system out and why this was hyped up so much - I feel because they wanted to make sure that as many 10c members are able to attend this as possible. But who the F knows.....Bristow, VA - 5.13.10
