Still trying for GA at this point because I personally think it's the best concert experience, but yeah, that is definitely the down side of the pit... Not so much the timing; I won't be waiting in line for GA; I'll just be there for doors. But I can't drink too much before the show, since I can't leave the pit to go to the washroom or to get another drink. So that does kind of suck. I won't cry if I don't end up getting GA because of that. But I still want it. But still, I'll party! I mean, me taking it easy is probably other people's going hard core.

Count me in if this is indeed going to be the pre-party spot. I thought I read on here somewhere about an official Wishlist party possibly coming into being, no? I also nominate Murphy's Bleachers on the corner of W. Waveland Ave. and N. Sheffield Ave (behind centerfield of Wrigley) as a fun spot, or at least the final cheaper drink spot before heading on in. This place is always crazy packed and fun before Cubbies games. I hit it up before a Cubs day game winner over the Red Sox last June and had a blast there. Plus it's a pretty big space with both indoor and outdoor areas. It might even be the closest bar to the GA entrances around the outfield walls. Just a thought? Any natives agree?
