    at home, on my phone, the schedule at work.... And people have
    already started remarking that there's only one slot left for those
    10 days, cAuse the other slot is mine! Lol!and my boss the other day
    was telling someone that was talking to her about a July vaca, and
    she told her, well... That's the week Tree is going to PJ... If you're
    brave enough you could ask.. And the other lady said, nah, I know better!

    I was talking to my boss yesterday....my birthday is coming up next week and she asked me if I was taking the day off for it. I said no, because I was saving up a lot of my vacation time for the PJ tour coming up later in the year and I was actually just getting ready to submit my time off for Wrigley already (my bosses have always known and understood I'm a PJ fan). Her response - "Oh, that's great...sounds like that will be an awesome time." Nice having a boss who understands.

    Outside of the time off for the holidays, I have 30 days to take off this year - and the majority of it is being saved for the fall. :mrgreen:

    If you work at a place that you cannot take some time off to enjoy LIFE, then it is probably a place not worth working ( don't get me a wrong, a job is very important in this day and age and I appreciate my job very much )

    But work, with no time for living life to the fullest - fuck it.

    My boss HATES giving me Fridays off because she's a total control freak and either she or I need to be there to hold the place down. She has a standing "every Friday off" well, because she's the boss and she can do that and work four 10s instead.

    I JUST got back from a week-long vacation (which included Friday) so of course she had to work. I hate to ask for the 19th with the taste of a (gasp) 5-day work-week still fresh in her mouth, but I'm hoping that she'll be cool with it because it's my BIRTHDAY that week... yippee!! In fact, I'm tempted to just ask for the whole week! :P
