I had one asshole sitting behind me who has obviously spent the majority of his life flying under the radar of retardation. On the rare occasions that this fucktard didn't have a beer chugging down his throat, he was yelling the most undecipherable, non-lingual gibberish at Eddie.

Every time there was a pause...this ape would bellow out some stupid shit at the top of his lungs, take a swig of beer and then laugh at himself. Every one around him threatend this douchbag with fates worse than death and he just kept yelling and getting drunker and drunker.

Finally...this older dude who looked kind of like the Incredible Hulk turned around put a finger directly to this assholes chest and said "The next time I hear even the slightest fart from you...I'm going to grab you by the throat and throw you off this fucking balcony...So sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up".

    It was awesome.

The retard looked like he was going to either piss his pants or break down and cry.

I swear we didn't hear another peep from that fucker for the rest of the evening

anyone else a dork like me who purchased the sticker/pin set last night? They charged me $10 - for stickers. I asked if it was a mistake, but the wall clearly said $10. Granted, it is a $5 premium over what I was expecting to pay, but...wow $10 for some pins.

WOw. That WAS UNREAL LAST NIGHT.

I have an asshole story. I had to put this fucker in his place. So this couple shows up late. They came when Eddie was talking about Neil Young. Right before MOTH came on. So he comes to his seat and right away gets on his cell phone and calls his buddy who is there too. Talking at the top of his lungs he's like "SHIT DUDE, I'M CENTER. THESE SEATS ARE SO GOOD!!!" While this asshole is talking I pretty much miss everything Eddie is saying. So MOTH starts and this asshole keeps talking over the music. First he's telling his girlfriend how much he likes her, and how their so perfect for eachother. And then he gets his cellphone back out and is like "HEY CHECK OUT THE PICS OF MY KID!!!!" So at this point i'm fucking angry, and everyone around me was getting angry because we just missed half of a song. I lean over towards him and say "Listen, if you're going to talk the whole show go out there and do it". This guy gets pissed and says "You want me to go out there, lets fucking go outside and settle this out there" So I say to him "Shut you're fucking mouth" And he's like "Why the fuck are you bustin' my balls for talking to my girl. I say "Buddy just shut the fuck up" At this point the usher comes down and tells him to shut it. The guy behind me talks to him. And then next thing you know he says to me "Ah sorry man, i'll be quiet". 45 mins later he leaves the concert. What a fucking tool.
  • seems we all have 1 asshole story or another :(

if anyone's still on here, im still looking for a single ticket to tonight's show, if i dont find one before 6:30 im just gonna stay home... and cry a little...

I am new to posting on this board but have been following threads for sometime.
I will say I hit the Montreal shows on the weekend and Massey last night and WOW!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I don't have a meathead story, most of the decent people must have been sitting with me on the floor :)

Soooo wanted to stay and see the second show tonight but due to work, just was not able too..

    An incredible mesmerizing evening though..

    I am still speechless!

Ed had the most crowd connecting feel I have ever seen (or felt).
I Still remember lining up at an HMV in Calgary for Ten!!!

the crowd could have been worse. the first part of the show was pretty tame as far as the assholes go.

    Sometimes
    MOTH
    Arc all highlights

    guy in the crowd:
    "What band are you in?"

    Eddie:
"It's called Stone Temple Pilots, you should check it out sometime."
Life has nothing to do with killing time.
    So why be satisfied?

in nyc people were being idiots too. from the reviews of the boston shows it seems like some people were real assholes. don't let that take away from the actual concert last night that was amazing!

I was there in NYC the first night and the crowd was really respectful. In fact Eddie said "Well, I guess I left all of the assholes in Boston".
  • What a great show! I was able to catch Boston 2 as well and between the two shows, I got to hear just about everything I had wanted. Ed is such an amazing musician. Playing solo really showcases his talent. He was pretty chatty and seemed to be in a great mood. The yellers were better behaved than in Boston which was a treat.

My seats were in the bleeders, but it didn't matter. I could see and more importantly, hear. Such a beautiful venue. I was surrounded by people who also were big fans so that helped the experience.

Loved the covers, ARC just is the most beautiful loop I've ever heard. I'm so glad I got to hear it twice.

Liam is also pretty killer, Society with the two of them was kickin'. And of course, Hard Sun. Wish I'd seen him open.

Thanks EV for a great show!

I liked the crowd in Toronto 1. I thought it was entertaining and ed handles it so well. He knows when he's talking with long pauses that people will shout out, so when he wants to keep talking, he just does that. Otherwise it looked like he was having a lot of fun with crowd, and that was really really fun to watch. More than a few times he left us in stitches with his retorts to the peanut gallery.

Liam Finn has an amazing live show. Amazing. His CD does not do the live show justice in any way, shape or form. Oh, and my wife noticed that, for the two songs Liam played with Ed during Ed's first encore, he was completely flying low the entire time....I suppose he was THAT baked, as Ed pointed out.
