Possible Liquidation Sale

Thinking about selling off some of my lesser loved PJ items within my collection. Basically most everything but my posters. I'm looking at selling off my box sets from the 2000 and 2008 tours, PJ20 backpack, white backspacer vinyl, hallucinogenic recipe box set, deep through the years box set, yield tour posters (have 2 extras), deluxe pj20 blu-ray box set, and probably a few other items I can't think of off the top of my head. I have all this stuff just sitting in a closet collecting dust so to speak. So I think it might be time to move it along to other fans who would get more enjoyment out of it than I do. Am I crazy or am I just at a point where it's time to move on?

I bought them at Alpine Valley back in '98. They're glossy posters of the Yield cover with all of the tour dates listed across the bottom of the poster. I think I must have bought extras for my brothers at the time.

I may also be interested in one of the yield posters. I also bought 1 at the Cleveland show. For some odd reason I had it laminated shortly after & now I'm not even sure where it is. I would like another one though.

I know you said most everything "but posters", however, if you happen to have a "DTE" poster you want to get rid of, I've been trying to find one & I would be happy to help you out.

I apologize. I should have said "everything but the show specific posters"...ie Ames/Klausen/etc.... I do have those Yield Tour posters and I also have a HUGE Yield album release poster and a HUGE pearl jam vs. poster. And I don't really have a use for either of them.

Sounds like there is some interest out there for some of these items. I may have to really go through everything this weekend to see what goes and what stays. I'll put out a formal "for sale" listing once I get that done.

I think that is what I will do. Some of the items I'd have no idea as to what their current value is. It's just stuff I picked up years ago. I know we have expressobeans that we can use for poster values. But since these aren't posters....is there anything out there to help ballpark values on some of these other non-poster collectibles?

I started to go through my stuff and came across a bunch of older newsletters and Christmas singles I forgot I had. I looked through the merchandise section in one of them and wanted to shoot myself for not buying more stuff back in the day. I'm a poster freak....They originally sold the '95 Ames tour posters for $12. But then in the next mailing they were having a "blowout" sale and they were only $10 ! And all of the posters from the '96 tour were $12 !!! I'd have to say those definitely were the good old days!

The funniest thing I found was a photocopy sheet they sent me telling me that I hadn't included enough money in my merch order because they had recently raised their shipping charges. Nothing like a personalized slap of the hand from the Vitalogy Health Club !!! LOL !!!

They had some cool newsletters back in the day. Calendars, contests, there is even a section in one where you punched out cutouts to make a paper ambulance with. I never made it but it looks like it would be pretty cool. Hilarious stuff!!! Some of the newsletters and singles I didn't even bother opening so I have no idea what is inside of them!

I should post some pics when I get a chance. It's quite the stroll down memory lane for sure! Ha ha !!

Yes to bad those days are OVER :( I just think there are to many members now and the 10 club dont actualy take in any applications to hire people

Its so nice to have been apart of that.

The new people dont understand the way it was and cant understand why we bitch and moan about things now. It was a fan club. Now its a business :(
