    Some christians believe in a strict adheance to the bible. Women should not be heard from or challenge a man. Why is this not part of American culture?

    I have spoken to many Muslim woman at a previous job. Most were very kind to me. One in fact was very helpful in explaining some of the dietary needs in being observant. She explained some aspects that ran counter to what many hold to be true.
    I suggest seeking out those of Muslim faith. Talk to them yourself and then form your own opinion.It would help though, going into this with an open mind. If thats possible.
    As far as pedophelia is concerned, I give you the catholic church and many other christian based oraganizations like the Boy Scouts. MAJOR COVER UP>


    So why if you are soooo concerned about these things in another culture, arent you so up in arms aboiut orthodox jews and their treatment of the women in their society? The men dont work, just study. The women on the other hab=nd work raise the kids etc.......

    Well the Jews have not threatened to destroy America. I am sick about the Catholic Priest and the Boy Scout cover up, but that is not the subject here. Now lets turn this around and ask why do they deny pedophilia in Islam when they are not even trying to cover it up. Yet are pissed about the Catholics and Boy Scouts......I have friends in the military my post is true.

    theres a certain freedom in not living in fear and having an openish mind.

    It really help when I can put my preconcieved notions and prejudices aside and look as objectively as possible at a situation, take info from as many sources as possible(all sides , not just one point of veiw that coincides with my own) THEN make a decision.
