Help with older posters...update with lesson learned already

I'm in a holiday shopping mood and am thinking about trying to find some posters for a fellow pj fan/family member. Hopefully he will somehow miss this thread! I'm looking for posters for red rocks 1995 and rapid city 1998. Found a poster that says 1995 and lists Denver as one of the cities. This is the red rocks show right? What about the rapid city show? When I look at the set list for that show here it says "poster not available". Is there a highly desired yield tour poster that may have been sold at that show? I did some searching but was frustrated by the options and a slow computer. I confess that I've never been a poster collector but these would make someone special to me very happy. How do I find out what reasonable prices for such items might be? Thanks in advance for your patience with poster newbie questions!

    Hi Jen, check out Expressobeans.com if you haven't already. I'm not good with the older posters but others here are. Expressobeans will give you average market price which should give you a good idea of how much it will cost. I also watch listings on eBay before to gauge how much things are going for if it's something pricey.

    Great thx for the info! Those are the ones I came up with in searching too. My computer wouldn't open up the expressobeans site last night and I finally gave up. I did find some listings on the other site you mention so will head back there too.

    Ok so I learned a valuable lesson today.... Should have bought the red rocks poster from that auction site immediately after posting here and figuring out it was indeed the one that I wanted. Probably I inadvertently steered someone directly to it and they snatched it from my fingers. Wow! So now I'm ISO at least one of these two posters. :roll:

    Don't worry, PJ stuff is always sniped at the last second. I don't think your questions drove up interest as people are always looking for older stuff. I know I search every couple days just to see if their is anything I am looking for.

    Thx that gives me hope. I really wanted to get it for him. I was so disappointed to see it gone. I'm sure it's not the last time. You are right of course it wasn't destined to last long. Just didn't realize how quick it could go. I'll keep looking
