Pancakes with lemon juice and suger...mmmmm mmmmm!!! :D

Difference between pancakes and pikelets.....pikelet mix is basically pancake mix with a heap of sugar added. Pikelets are usually smaller and puffier.

Mum makes her pikelets with condensed milk.....I looove eating the batter. Haven't had them in a long time though.

I want to try pancakes now.

Just get one of those shake-pancake type mix things from the shops....too easy....just add water, shake the shite out of it and cook :D
Then if you like them....try an actual recipe.

    Ohhhh...good idea!

The reception venue I was looking at today had a dessert that the inhouse chef makes: deep fried bananas in coconut batter with mango puree and icecream. Ever since reading that I've been craving something ULTRA sweet. :o And as per usual, nothing besides Milo in the house.

My mum used to only make us pikelets and never pancakes. Actually, I don't think I've ever had real pancakes before -- I've only tried those McDonalds hotcakes -- are they pancakes?

Nice! Thanks Suz. The hail looks like snow....I always pictured it being more chunky?

Comes in different sizes.....the hail on the beach was just a bit bigger than the foam beads u get in bean bags....We had hail feb last yr and some was about the size of cricket balls..:D Thats the stuff that dents cars...
I was in the city that night and drving home we saw about 75 flashes of lightning...When the hail started matt had to move Carissas car under the oak tree so it wouldnt get dented.........:D
