I do not like Nickelback at all, but I am also at a loss as to why people Chad Kroeger so much. Obviously a lot of people DO like his music, or he wouldn't be so fucking rich. I just don't get why so many people like to trash talk him? Same with Justin Beiber. It's not like they are forcing us to listen to their music, and they apparently make lots of other people (with poor music taste) happy. I feel bad for Chad Kroeger, even if he is rich. As for EV's money... I don't care, and feel weird talking about it here. It's rude to discuss other people's finances, isn't it? 10C forum feels a little too close to his own home to be discussing for some reason (but that's just me - everyone go nuts).

I agree Ed's finances should be private. I would not have issue with the mods taking this thread down. That said, Nickelback are horrific. Their music is indefensible. I am an attorney and I have never played an instrument or written a song, however I promise I could write better music shit if I had to. Every song is three cords of shit-guitar-riff and the lyrics are all about getting wasted and getting laid. I really like doing both, and I could definitely articulate it in a better way than those ass-hats. Like I said in my earlier post, I think it is great that someone can suck that bad at their job and still get paid as much as they do. Applebees’ & McDonalds sell horrible food (with the exception of Egg McMuffin), but I am sure there are a bunch of rich dudes who own those franchises.
I doubt Chad K feels hurt about people’s distain for him. Every night he probably laughs his ass off at the people who wasted $100 on watching him. It is like he is the head of a ponzi scheme or something…

I agree that it's horrible music (in my opinion), but I think that Nickelback actually thinks their music is good... or it's at least the very best they can do. I really think that some people this their music is really good! No accounting for taste, right? And since I think they actually believe that what they do is good, and that others feel the same, I don't understand the disdain. No one is forcing us to listen to it! And I don't care who he is - Chad must get upset about how badly he is torn apart. *shrug* I dunno... I don't hate him just because I can't stand his music and think it's shit. I think that would be mean-spirited of me.
