    I am sooooo down with this!!!! I completely concur with your assessment of Firefly last year. I was at Firefly and MIA, and Firefly was way better organized with a great mix of music and an overall great vibe. The dogfish head tent was awesome and AIR CONDITIONED! :D

    I already bought my tickets for next year's Firefly festival, that's how impressed i was with the experience, they haven't even announced a single band! If Pearl Jam were to play there, that would be just PERFECT!!!!! :mrgreen:

    So please, please, pretty, pretty please PEARL JAM PLAY FIREFLY 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was at Firefly last year. Absolutely loved it. I hope the rumor is wrong; I wouldn't want to see PJ play that festival.

    and to be honest... seeing you are from south jersey... i dont know about you... but i would rather go to a concert in the woods... with a large assortment of amazing opening bands and great music playing all day... with a good selection of food and drinks... topped off by the best band in the world... as opposed to going to see them in that shithole in camden with one opening band i may or may not like...

    like i said, i love a good tour as much or more then the next pj fan... but i will never understand why pj fans are SO opposed to festivals, especially local ones... and in this case... for PJ to finally play in my home state... would be a dream come true... i dont care what the set list would be... i dont care how far back i would be... i dont care how many songs they play... it would be absolutely fucking awesome

    I be ok with this. It's closer than Wrigley, which I am attending, but I have relatives that have gone to FF and loved the entire atmosphere and the music. A tour would be better, but I'll take this too.

    yeah people on the firefly facebook page are thinking pearl jam. It would be cool, but who knows. I already bought Firefly Festival tix last summer when they announced they would be returning. Just hoping for a semi-decent line-up :? Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Phoenix, The xx, Passion Pit, The National, Kings Of Leon, fun, Tame Impala, have been rumored.

    Last year was awesome. I could honestly say it was the best festival I have ever been too. I really hope its Pearl Jam and not just Eddie :lol:
