couple of decent matchups. shame that the game cocks lost last week, other wise the game vs. FL would be very interesting...still, looks to be the best game of the day.81 is now off the air

So, 1st day of a long weekend here now. YAY! Monday off work!!! &&& on the line-up I have:
9:00 gym class
11:00 1st Pt Chev(suburb near where I live) dance-walk where whoever we've managed to get to come along walks down the main street dancing to music they're listening to in the headphones or we're going to have some little speakers I think.

thennnn.... most exciting thing of this weekend is it's traditionally here in NZ the time to plant your tomatoes, ie your summer garden!! YAY! I've bee raising my seeds for a while & this afternoon it's all on!!
& tomorrow the weather's meant to turn to shit so I'll be back to general holiday weekend occupations like watching movies etc.

Hunkering down , watching for Sandy .
Hoping there is no mandatory evacuation
as there was last year at this time ( for Irene-- almost a year to the day )
It was the first time in NYCs history that certain neighborhoods in different zones
were forced to evacuate.
Last year , I hiked it up to North NJ to a friends,
with my entire PJ Poster collection in tow.
I really dont want to have to do that again !
** fingers crossed **For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive

Everything that I'm reading for CT doesn't sound that bad. I feel like media outlets are over reacting over this. but what do I know. (what do they really know, if anything)Bathgate66 wrote:Hunkering down , watching for Sandy .
