Got anything else?Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V0 -
My quick Google search revealed the following. Clearly this a case of someone's words and sentiment being twisted.
"At 6:30 we make it a point, that if we're in town, no matter what the president is doing, we stop what we're doing, we sit down and and have a meal as a family," she said. Clearly it's not always possible with the president's schedule, but it's a high priority, she says.
Hardly everyday, hardly a firm rule.

still waiting for you to answer my question; what is wrong with a president (or anyone for that matter) having dinner with his/her loved ones? i see nothing wrong with it at all and it speak volumes of his/her morals and their commitment to the sanctity of his/her marriage. the man is simply dedicated to his wife and children and they are number one in his life.

Obviously, a former speechwriter for George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld can be trusted to deliver an unbiased opinion piece on Barack Obama.___________________________________________

Yet again, does anyone think a president can't do his or her job from anywhere?
And technology is the reason this will increase with more recent presidents. But don't let reality stop you from buying into the nonsense and one liners/sound bites.hippiemom = goodness0 -
A President can do their job if its important to them ... yes.
Focus focus focus.
The other thread brought up our military budget cuts and bringing home our troops
as one poster mentioned.
What effect will that have on our historic unemployment rate?
How will our service people do coming home to a weekly check and no work?
That transition from being valuable, hero status to feeling unproductive
in society. Terrific disconnect.
Will the budget cuts cause, as predicted, great lay offs in industry related to
the military?
And the budget cuts will they just get eaten up by more social services and unemployment
costs?
At the same time making the USA more vulnerable with a less active defense?
