so im driving to the beach this weekend for the first time this year
flippin through the ipod and see live on two legs..thought cool..haven't listened to this in awhile
put it on..as soon as ed hits that power chord thingy for the intro to corduroy i feel like i got kicked in the soul

i forgot why i stopped listening to the album
i got dumped by an avid pj fan almost 2 yrs ago
had a cosign..lived together for 2 yrs or so...had 3 months or so left on the lease..tried to ride it out
the chick sat in our room with "footsteps" and "in hiding" on repeat painting sad pictures..
had to get out
rented a place on the beach
everyday on my sad hour long commute home from work or whatever id listen to live on two legs
became a routine of self-pity
now i cant put it on
its insane
all im sayin..
is one of my favorite albums ruined from the chick that really got me into the band in the first place
o the irony...
im upset
That sucks dude!, The way I see it youv got to think to yourself . Am i gonna let this chick stop me from listening to the album or tell your self to just move on. Laugh it Off! be glad tht she got u into the band man!

that sucks man hasn't happened to me with a band or an album, but it has for certain songs, just songs that a girl and i would share often. like the song something by the beatles. i sang that song to my ex a lot, after we broke up, i couldn't listen to it...but then after a while i was able to listen to it, great song

yeah dude, i mean the down side of music is that people can associate music with almost everything, and when something happens to that association, it ruins the music. what you gotta do is associate LO2L with something else, something you know wont let you down

Yeah man, i know what you mean like the same thing happened to me a few years ago in my last year of high school. When I was listening to Riot act alot Well turned out i was just messed about in the end by this girl i thought was specail . So i associated those songs with that for a while.

I had a similar, but opposite experience with this and Ten. They were the first PJ albums I really got into. I got dumped my junior year in HS and would listen to Black on both albums on repeat, probably like a million other people. I can still listen to those albums when I'm down and it invokes so many reactions. I can feel rejuvenated, feel sorry for myself, or it takes me back to those days when I didn't have a real care in the world.
