    By the way, the photo is real. The caption is a joke. If you are unaware that we supported the Mujahideen (Freedom Fighters) in the Soviet-Afghan conflict, then you need to brush up on some history.

    The lack of security in Benghazi is disheartening, especially after the London envoy was attacked with a rocket.
    It's rather difficult to pin down blame for this, but the fact that individuals, including Stevens, raised red flags that went relatively unnoticed is strange.

    I guess when you have an endless number of diplomatic outposts around the globe, some communication gets lost. Also, being that times are the way they are, there is no reason that troops, in this case aboard a military ship in the Mediterranean, should be far from our outposts.

    IN any case, we are dealing with religious fundamentalists, brainwashed fools whose incitement to riot is as difficult to gauge as a child's tantrum.

    For those unaware let's not forget it was Carter who originally initiated the support for them in 1979 launching operation cyclone which authorized funding for them July 3, 1979.
