Couldn't agree more. Gotta have as many boots as I can with Release and Hard To Imagine being played. Absolutely agreed that Release belongs as the opener and the opener only, not later in the set - it's just not right anywhere else.

Now whenever the Alpine boots are released, that will take it to a whole other level. 8-)

    Whaaaat???? No San Diego 2006??

I think Gary might have a little problem with that one?

And, what about Amsterdam 2? Dimi, are you out there?

Where are these statistics coming from anyways? Sources, please!

San Diego 2006 is up there for me. Go back a page(?) or this page and you'll see what I wrote about that show.

MSG 2 1998 is pure perfection. The set list (BREATH for the first time since 1994 after a campaign for it), the band's and audience's energy (need I say more?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVxV1ZhPZk8). Amazing show.

Seattle 2 2000. The last show of a long and tough tour after Roskilde. The band put everything into their performance that night. The set list is incredible (they played "Alive" for the only time on the US tour; the "man-trilogy"). Words can't describe how much I love this show and how incredible it is.

Atlanta 2 1994. Early, raw show by the band. They basically played all of "Ten" and "Vs", except for one song from each album. "Release" right into "RVM" is amazing and the energy of the band for the entire show is spectacular. Listen to "Porch" from this show.

You've written a strong argument, counselor.

Okay, MSG 2 1998 is on right now. I'll do Seattle 2 2000, followed by Atlanta 2 1994, for my next boots. Been doing the "This day in PJ History" boot for a while, so I guess a break's in order anyways.

Though, some serious competition will be taking the curb for tomorrow's list...
