    I'm baking layers of vanilla cake to make a big cake for the celebration of my niece's first school day tomorrow. I'm trying my own creation - a vanilla layer cake with vanilla cream filling that is topped with drizzles of liquid dark chocolate on every layer (it will harden when it comes into contact with the cold cream which will be a nice effect) and a vanilla frosting topped with fresh strawberries. Sounds good in theory, let's see what comes out of it ... My place smells fantastic :D
