But I am getting the same feeling that they will open with Oceans and here is why:
My parents decided to go camping that weekend instead of attend the festival. I told them that they are going to miss Oceans, and they got really mad at me because I'm going and will see it and they won't. So PJ will play it because then they will completely regret spending the weekend in the woods instead of in Pihlly

On the flight to PJ20 I told my gf (who had never seen PJ before) that all I wanted to hear was Release. I said if we made the trip, they played Release and then decided not to play anymore, I'd be fine with it.

Release was the first song and I'm was psyched. For Night 2, I said Wash would be perfect because it raiend the day before and because I missed it by only one show a few years earlier. They played Wash- 2/2.

Now I told her that Oceans should open the show. I think she is my good luck charm so hoping I go 3/3!

And if I get a repeat opener I really dont want it to be Corduroy. My least favorite of my 10 by far.

Would Interstellar Overdive -> Courduoy count as a repeat?

Not gonna even matter cause they will play Oceans.

I just looked at the setlist for the PNC show you went to in 2003. What a crazy beginning to that show :shock:. How does the boot sound?

Holmdel 03 boot is by far my favorite boot. I can and have listened to it hundreds of time. It was my first show, and I was 12 years old, so I didn't know any songs, I was really short so I didn't really know what was going on. The only song I wanted to hear was Evolution. That was my favorite PJ song and pretty much the only one I knew. I went through the whole set waiting to hear Evolution. Thank god I got it because my dad bought me the boot and I listened to the whole boot so many times. The only reason I got to go was because my dad's 2 friends backed out last minute so he took my brother and I.

It was such a great show, and I kick myself everytime I think about it. I had no idea how big it was to hear all the songs that I did. Especially I Got Id, In My Tree, Gorwin Up, and Hunger Strike! This version of Porch is AMAZING and I am so pissed that I didn't appreciate all of the songs as much as I do now.. I really wish I could go back and have a repeat of this show, just so I can fully experience it with all of the meaning and understanding that I have now. :roll:

If you haven't heard this version of Porch... I think it's the best version they have ever played. It just builds so well. Mike and Stone kill the solo and they just play it with such great intensity.
