    Went to Billy Thorpe's memorial yesterday. They showed video footage of him on screens and Bryan Brown, Jack Thompson and George Negus spoke. Olivia Newton John sang a song too. Billy's coffin was on stage the whole time. :eek:

    About 7 - 8,000 I think. It was a public memorial for his fans ... tickets were free. Olivia NJ looked skinny and gorgeous and sang well except she was a bit shaky towards the end as she was trying to keep it together. Billy's wife and daughters, Molly Meldrum and Peter Garrett were there too but they didn't speak.

    When she saw his picture in the paper..she said is that what he looks like
    I thought he would have been taller and wearing goggles..
