    On 1st listens of both boots I'd enjoyed night 1 more. I listened to Night 2 twice last year and thought it sounded better the 2nd time. Both incredible boots and incredible shows.

    Yeah, I don't think I can split them really. Both great shows! I still wish they hadn't scratched off Garden, it's probably my grail song but I did get the only Hitchhiker ever and Release on night 1.... :D

    Been listening to a lot of boots from Germany, and this one's got a great set list/energy from the crowd and, of course, the band. Really cool improv at the end of Corduroy that was fun to listen to.

    Philly 1, 2009. I'm doing all 4 over the next few days just to remind me how amazing it was. I think this experiment has been kind of forgotten about and downplayed at times recently but come on! Everyone on these forums were gushing over these shows at the time and there's been nothing like it since in terms of sheer number of songs played despite the odd mistake here and there. I would have loved to have been there!! :mrgreen:

    Damn it Gary, you talked me into it. Just got a good new pair of studio headphones, so will start with the Philly shows....nothing better than a good boot, new headphones, cold beer on a Sunday afternoon, and watching the Olympics. :D
