    It was "KIDS DAY" yesterday...
All the players were up in the stands, before the game, signing autographs...
    How fucking cool is that?

That is pretty cool. I actually remember going to one of these kids day's in the early 90s and running the bases after the game. At 10-11 years old, that was pretty much the coolest thing in the world.

Quintana, Peavy, and Sale going this weekend. All 3 guys with an ERA under 3.00....pretty impressive 3 to throw out there.

Tie game in the 11th inning and the Royals fans are doing the wave. WTF is wrong with these people? Watch the fucking game!

Another nice series win. Man, Sale is awesome. Even when he gets himself into a jam, he almost always seems to get out of it. Big week coming up here with 4 at Fenway and then 3 in Detroit.

How awesome has Youkilis been?? Another huge hit tonight with the 3-run HR. Bullpen made it a little close for comfort at the end there. Too many damn rookies...can't wait for Crain to get back and Kenny needs to get a veteran arm or 2 for the bullpen.

I don't think ventura ever saw film of thornton trying close games last april.

What a fucking mess that was last night. That loss is on Ventura. The thing that really confuses me is Thornton and Reed were both warming up at the same time. So why the fuck do you bring in Thornton?? It's not like Reed was unavailable to pitch last night and you had to have someone else close it out. Bring in your regular closer. Everyone is praising Ventura, but he has had some very questionable bullpen moves that have cost the Sox a few games.

Huge series. Great matchup tonight with Peavy-Verlander. Hopefully this offense wakes up this weekend.

Fucking terrible. Started the road trip 2-1 and end up finishing 3-7. Offense needs to get their shit together.

Well the Tigers got a lot better today. I doubt Kenny is done making moves here...

Brutal schedule post all star break too. 10 game road trip, back home for 3 starting tonight, and then back out on the road for 6 more.

Back in a tie for 1st. I envision a back and forth like this w/ the Tigers the rest of the year.

Read yesterday that Kenny really wants Greinke and that the Sox are trying hard to get rid of Gavin Floyd. That would be fine with me....Floyd is one of the most frustrating pitchers in the league to watch.

Bold move by Kenny trading for Liriano. Hopefully a change of scenery will do Liriano some good.

Obviously not. The way he is playing now is why he was so frustrating last year....you know the type of talent he has.

Nice series win down in Texas over the weekend. And now to Minnesota to play the Twins...Liriano going against his former team tomorrow night.

Another sweep over the Twins would be nice, but I'd be happy with 2 out of 3. Any less than 2 wins in this series will be a disspointment. I'm going to my 2nd game of the year Saturday, so I hope they keep playing at the level they're at now. Should be an exciting finish to the season.
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side

Another series win. Danks being out for the year sucks although he really didn't contribute much this season when he was healthy so its' not a huge loss. The trade for Liriano is looking huge now since it gives us 6 starting pitchers at this point. That will make it easier to watch the innings on Sale and Quintana. Finally some home games coming up after having 16 of 19 on the road after the all star break.

And another series win. 2.5 up on Detroit.

Watched most of the 3 games this series...man, that guy Trout on the Angels is fucking good. Can't believe he's only 20.

He looked damn good last night. It's amazing the jams that Sale gets himself out of. Getting out of that 1st and 3rd jam with no out in the 8th last night was huge. It seems like he gets himself out of a jam like that every game.

seems like he puts himself into a jam at least once a game. it's like he will cruise for 3-4-5 innings, than lose the strike zone for a couple of batters.

Sucks dropping a series to KC, but still up .5 games on Detroit. Day off today should be good for a lot of these guys that have some nagging injuries.
