    ^^^^^ yes it is!

I'm getting ready for my gardenia to bloom ... I see all the buds!

It has grown huge this year, much taller, 8 ft by 6 ft now!
The gorgeous smell will cover me, literally , my pool chair is underneath it

Here a pic when it was a baby a few years back...

can't wait to bury my face in that! :D

I like the deep-hued yet pastel colors of both flowers OMG, IS THAT A DEAD ONE? and the contrast between the colors/size as well.

 Yes, thats a DEAD ONE - so far I'm doing a pretty good job of keeping this plant alive - my kids gave this to me as a Mothers Day gift.... they know I love colors pink and purple.

 Yes these are lovely bushes, I have a few in the yard. From the family of Hibiscus.

Woke this am to a tree down just missing two of them and 3 mature rose bushes,
    strategically placed that trunk was.

    Whew a close one ...

The saddest thing about Hibiscus, like the day lilly,
each most beautiful blossom has but 24 hours of beauty.

I have a small potted hot house hibiscus ... stunning, yellow with a hot pink throat ...
hate it when I miss a day of bloom, always feel like I let it down,
nobody oohing and aching with loving vibes ...
flowers/ plants live for the vibes :D
