Thanks for theses Marcus! I was wondering, are you going to create cover art from the posters like you have done in the past? Your creations are great and they look great on my iPod too. Please, if you have a chance, I am looking forward to these again. Thanks in advance.

The maxx/McFarlane poster is amazing detail but misses the mashup concept for me. McFarlane could have made the character sea themed which would have made more sense...a deep sea diver or Neptune himself, whatever.
It just doesn't work for me to see two great works of art combined to not really make sense??

Probably been asked already but I couldn't find it....do we know when the posters are likely to be available from 10c?

They almost always are in a few weeks/months. A lot of the 2011 are still available and they already sold some of the Isle of Wight posters.

Is it just me or have the Ames posters gotten better in the 2011 and 2012 tours as they only get two per tour? They've eliminated the white space and come up with some good iconic images from the cities/areas. The 2011 art is particularly good IMO.

    I agree.

A lot of people hate Ames now. But you look at their body of work, the amount of posters they have produced for Pearl Jam, and there are really some great prints.

Brad Klausen came in and changed the game for PJ posters, and they forget what Ames did over those years.

I think Ames have rested on their laurels. BK changed it, upped the stakes and then people like Munk One and Soto have come along with some outstanding prints as well. I certainly don't hate Ames but in the last year or so I've tended to be more disappointed than pleased with Ames offerings. That said, Berlin II looked awesome and I'd love a copy of that!

I agree that Ames. posters have been disapointing over recent years. Love Klausens work as well as Munk One. Glad Kozik is back even though I havn't cared too much for his EV posters so far. Can't stand Soto. All his work looks the same to me. Enough with the owls already!!!
