After Pearl Jam's short European Tour Eddie Vedder is now doing his first every solo tour in Europe. Frank Kozik did the poster for the first night in Amsterdam. He has a total of three Eddie Vedder posters coming out for Europe all are 22.5 x35". Two of them are like a theme in of themselves at Eddie Vedders request. The third one also involves a personal request but in a different style. Later in the fall there's another triptych in yet another style for the rescheduled US tour. According to Frank Eddie is very involved on a personal level with his poster. On sale soon from Frank Kozik.

That is pretty much what Frank posted on expressobeans earlier today. Also said he is doing a triptych for the EV fall tour. He is doing tomorrows poster and the Portugal too.

In the right corner there's blood on the guitar. Kind of think this is A Rock is Dead type theme. Just my thought

I think it means no electric? The hand has pulled the plug and the electric guitar has been shot, so maybe saying it's all about the acoustic? And the hard boiled uke reference too.. dunno really, just guessing haha!

But you could say that always. Guns are used everyday. We all watch films were guns are involved, for example the Die Hard series or Bourne. Is that wrong? Should those films be stopped? People are thinking too much about this poster. Its just a poster. No more. No less.

I think it's a reasonably cool poster. Nobody would have questioned it's taste any other time. Gun crime is a daily event and it's not something that will ever change. Art is art, it doesn't have limits. I'm sure if the most recent atrocity had been more localised to the gig the poster would have been pulled.

I am not referring to films. And no, its not everyday guns are used to shoot 71 people in one place in the U.S.

I didn't say the poster is wrong, or should not have been made but merely it is bad timing. Timing can not always be controlled.
