i've got enough of problem keeping up with this roadtrip...

didn't seem like there was a lot of work in the columbus 2010 party or the chicago 2008 thrusday ed solo party that i went to....maybe there was...i dunno....

just show me the beer.

    ok...impeached!

I read on the Press Box site there were no fees to reserve their 'room' for a large party. That will be the most important thing.

With no fee and a banquet room that might be a good option, looks like they have 18 beers on tap so not too bad. I can try to call them later today to see how much notice they need for room reservations if that helps.

Also has Sunday ticket too so NFL will be on...

before the Ed solo show, they had an area that was for the pre-party (I think it was the entire bar area)
Not sure about Hemingway's...I think we all just took over the whole place.

Can't remember Canada too much, I went to the Press Box in Vancouver, the 'official' place they had was a kind of meeting room.

Eh, we can all look up bars online, post suggestions here and vote.

i think someone is trying to get this going.

    am I being volunteered? :shifty:

I don't want to step on Wishlist toes, so I'm willing to set up an 'alternate' pre-party/post-party, but I also would like to elect another person to help out/organize.

well i know we are trying to get a hold of Foxymop, to see what is up with the wishlist for this show.

now that you mention it, i second the notion that you volunteered yourself...

I am a bit shy about organizing this, I am quite new and like you said I don't want to step on anyone's toes. I'll be more than happy to help though! Let me know! :D

No Wishlist fundraiser/participation will be planned for this one. So no conflict.

See you guys wherever the majority wants to go for the pre show / after show meetups.

    My opinion... walking distance... :D

Great! I'm really shy too, so we can be shy together.

Thanks for the heads up EvilClosetMonkey!

I was looking up The Union Club and Rhino and there wasn't much info (how big/if they have space for a large group) I'll give them a call tomorrow...how many people should I say I'm looking to show up? 100? 200?
Also, what do some of you consider "walking distance"? a few blocks? a mile?

The Press Box may be closer, but it wont have the room to fit 100+, especially if it's on a Sunday night and Football is on. The best bet for a large group would be the Union Club. It's a little further away, but there's a trail that follows the river and basically takes you there. Plus, the Union Club is a super chill environment and they'd allow you to play only PJ on their stereo equipment.

I live in Missoula and visit these places frequently.

Me too. Wouldn't it be best to have someone local organize it?

10pm? We need something later! Maybe the park for a nice lunch or something...what would happen if 50-150 of us suddenly just showed up without a permit? :?

What time did we leave Hemingway's afro/unlost? 3am?

It was still sweltering hot...or was that the raging firepit that afro and I almost fell into trying to make s'mores?

unlost won't remember...she got spiked in the schnozz with a volleyball at the end of the night.

 we got there early...and stayed late...it seemed that i always had a beverage in hand..so things are fuzzy toward the end. i remember that our smores were sensational and then Heis stopping by...and yeah..so I know we left late, but I'm not sure what time.

wherever it is..works for me... :D
Show #13 was a lucky one for me....

yeah...so how 'bout it down_ski? Kinda sounds like you sort of have an 'in' with the Union Club... ;)
just tell them you and about 100 or more of your closest friends will be partying there.

I'll get ahold of them! Shouldn't be an issue either, the place is usually pretty dead Sundays.

*Just called, it will work out perfectly. There's a ton of space at this bar and it's a super chill environment. They do close at 1am on Sundays, figure most of us will be calling it a night around that time but the night owls can continue on to different bars.
