Where was the pre-party held in '05? Find out that info, and go from there.

Reading their rules about tailgating only being allow 2 hours before a game makes me think the tailgating wouldn't be worth it. Also in the A - Z rules say "no tailgating for concerts of shows". See tailgating in the link below, also a number there to call with questions about tailgating if anyone thinks they could talk them into it.

Press Box is okay, but there are waaay better bars in Missoula for a pre- or post-party.

My two suggestions would be the Union Club and the Rhino. Union Club has lots of room, Rhino has lots of beers.

Press Box is just a run-of-the-mill sports bar. It is the closest to the venue, easy walking distance. But that's the only thing in its favor.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

Union Club and Rhino are only .9 mile and 1.1 mile from the venue so those could be considered "walkable" by some.

Rhino looks to have good reviews on yelp. Will either of these have NFL on?

    am I being volunteered? :shifty:

I don't want to step on Wishlist toes, so I'm willing to set up an 'alternate' pre-party/post-party, but I also would like to elect another person to help out/organize.
