Bootleg Box Set Collection Question

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Pearl Jam live scene. I see in the store that they have box sets of 2008,2009,2010, complete box sets of the entire tour. I was just wondering if these were the only years they've done that, or if they have done it years in the past but are just sold out in the store? Any information on this would be much appreciated!

those are the box set years. '05 and '06 were digital download years (boo) and '07's have not been released in any format, outside of the newly released Vic show.

I sent an email to Kufala back in December asking about an '11 box set and they relied that there were no plans to release one, but I shouldn't be surprised if one is made. Take that for what it's worth.

Thanks for your help! When I first saw them, I thought they were like The Alman Brothers where they did a box set every year, and I got pretty excited lol. I love collecting stuff like that. I saw people on ebay have the entire 2000 year set of CD's, I guess they just released every show, just not in a box?

Correct..all of the 2000 and 2003 shows (with a few exceptions) were released on CD, but there was no official box set.

Ah Okay, I see. Does anyone own the 3 box sets? Are they really nice in person? It's hard to tell by the picture if the box is really nice or not.

And I was also wondering, besides the Ten Box Set, And VS/Vitalogy box sets, did they release any other official live album or studio album in a limited edition box set of some sort?

There is a Live on Ten Legs deluxe box set that contains the CD, LP, and 4 mini posters.

I don't have them, and I know some people really like them, but personally I don't think they are that great, especially for the price and the shows are all on CD-Rs.

Here are some pics of the 09 and 08 sets.

2000 tour and 2003 are silver CDs. The 2000 have a nice heavy cardboard cover. The '03's are a little more flimsy and you had to place stickers on the spine and back. 2000's are my favorite.

As far as the box sets, which contain CD-Rs, the 2008 box is nice. The '09's are in a heavy duty shoe box and the '10's look just like the picture. Heavy duty, but a black and white box.

And the only album boxes are the ones you mention. We all are waiting for the No Code / Yield set

Thank you everyone for all your help! I probably will wind up getting the box sets to see what they are like, I feel like they are pretty cool to collect. I hope they wind up doing one from last year, it would be cool to keep the tradition going. As far as the No Code/Yield box set, do you guys know if they are deffinetly working on one? Or is everyone just hoping they release one?

We're all hoping. I don't believe there has been any official word so far. Originally, they were all supposed to be released prior to the 20th anniversary, but it didn't happen. One thing I read is that the individual at Sony whose idea it was to release all the box sets no longer works there.
