Like you said, you can't hear anything from the lawn. Most amphitheatres have this problem. Maybe the venue was a hassle to get into/out of, weird concession lines and terrible parking......

Agree with everything you said. It's by far the worst concert venue in the Phila area. The last show I went to there was Radiohead on their last tour. Waited for the ferry for probably at least 90 minutes and ended up just barely getting in by the END of the 1st song. Completely missed the opener, obviously.
Worst part is that, from all accounts, driving there was even worse, with cars backed up the entire length of the bridge.
And yeah, sitting on the lawn is ridiculous. You're better off watching a bootleg on youtube.
So I held firm on my boycott of this terrible venue. Too bad, I missed the 7 worst King of Limbs songs out of 23 total songs.
They played some good stuff I guess but I don't regret blowing them off on this tour.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

Seeing them tomorrow night here in Toronto...it's also my birthday so it should be a great time. Only shitty thing is I have to work all day. ohh well, could be worse. I've been avoiding setlists and live streams all tour. I hope it's worth it.0

That's awful news. As result the show has of course been canceled.0

Wonder what the cause was. They are lucky that didnt happen later on in the day.And so you see, I have come to doubt

No make up yet. I'm sure the band and crew need some time to let this sink in before they announce anything.0

this is sad and a let down
looked like Radiohead's stage set was quite complex with lots of screens moving around and such wonder if that is what fell.
I'm lucky to have checked my e-mail before I was just going to hit the road to Toronto
was really looking forward to this all week
tickemaster is offering a refund right away so that leads me to believe no make up date1998 ~ Barrie

That makes sense since Downsview can hold a lot more people than other venues in Toronto. I'm not sure how many they were expecting, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was around 40,000+. Once they process the refunds UT might be easier to figure out a venue for the makeup show, if it even happens.smarchee wrote:this is sad and a let down

Just read about what happened on a local news web site. Horrible news.
