  there is a thread in porch..not many people going..at 2010 me and alot fans went,but now,the band has alot their shows and not festival,so we choose those than arras festival

  I totally understand the preference for a PJ only show. But I figured there would be a good amount of others, like me, who are using this PJ tour as a reason to visit Europe and I would expect France to be high on the list of countries to visit. And the only PJ show in France is at Arras. But maybe I'm not as big of a fan as others on here and I foolishly allowed sightseeing to interfere with the optimum choice of PJ concerts to see.

  I've been to Arras last year. Headliner was Arcade Fire supported by The National and some other nice groups.
  We really enjoyed the festival. It's not the biggest one (25 K) and the location (square) is quite nice.
  Enough toilettes, no queues to get a beer and reasonable price were other things I remember next to the unforgettable gigs.
  2 hr drive from Arras is Reims. A nice city to visit and the capital of champaigne

  Arras is a beautiful city and not far from lots of other places (Lille, Amiens...) there will be lots of PJ fans there too, not every fan goes on this board!
  
  My only concern about this show is its length. PJ are not on last and last time they played a very very short set....... its was great but too short.

  Does anyone want to try to meet up in Arras or inside the venue? Maybe its going to be difficult as its a festival show. I'm just so excited - Not much longer!

  I went in 2010 to see them in Arras.
  
  It was a good show, but the setlist was too short.
