It happens all the time. Who gives a fuck. It's debatable that that guy went around in Phil humbers perfect game. Who cares. Hell of a game from Santana. Well deserved.0

Big difference between a check swing a a BIG mark on the chalk. Plus i hate all NY teamsCliffy6745 wrote:It happens all the time. Who gives a fuck. It's debatable that that guy went around in Phil humbers perfect game. Who cares. Hell of a game from Santana. Well deserved.

Eh, who gives a fuck. Foul/fair balls are missed everyday. I am for instant replay on balls like that, like they do in tennis but until then, who gives a fuck?0

At least you admit it but really, you guys have a world series, a perfect game and a no hitter in recent history. Why the hell are you concerned about a missed call like that? Let them enjoy it. It's awesome.0

I especially like the fact that a World Series MVP froze and sloppily tried to hit that last strike

Anyone else notice the coincidence? 8 runs, 8 hits, 8 strike outs on the board. Gary Carter wore #8. Thanks "Kid"!"Now YOU listen. When we are on this ship, you are to refer to me as 'Idiot' not 'You Captain'!"

check swings are a tougher call. a ball bouncing off the chalk should be correct every time. 10 years from now, nobody will remember or care.
congrads to the mets.81 is now off the air

Ha, good point. But while I definitely wouldn't say it's awesome, I'd tip my cap to anyone not named Josh Beckett (he can go fuck himself). I thought Lester's no hitter was really cool given what he had been through and I was fairly indifferent to Buchholz throwing his.0 -
My best friend is a huge Mets fan and I'm a huge Yankee fan but we tolerate each other in that regard.
It was just so cool to see how happy he was last night after the game.

He's just being a typical classless philly asshole. He's just bitter cause he knows his team is gonna suck for years on end after talking all that shit to me bout how the phils after winning one world series are gonna be the next Yankees. Let the asshole rain on the no-han. I'll get the last laugh watching the phils not make the playoffs this season and watch hamels leave for bigger money and a better team. Hamels would look good in pinstripes, right cliffy? Least he can watch Howard and Utley rake and Doc be good for the next few years....oh wait.Cliffy6745 wrote:At least you admit it but really, you guys have a world series, a perfect game and a no hitter in recent history. PLEASE don't mention ANY team with the yanks....
i post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......0 -
Nah, just tired of his classless antics, considering his team sucks this year and it was a great accomplishment. Was bum knee beltran hit a hit, sure was, but sometimes a umpire gets a call wrong and its part of the game. Doesn't mean you have to be a classless asshole, but I wouldn't expect anything less coming a filthy fan. I'm sure I could find a blown call in doc's postseason no hitter from 2010 or anyother no hitter or perfect game. The Juggler wrote:Gary Carter wrote:
