Band of the day.....

Do you ever hear a song on shuffle from a band or artist you've ignored for a while and then dedicate that whole day's listening time just to that band? I've given myself a Sigur Ros day today. :D Music is really so amazing!!! I can't imagine how life would be without it.... :sick:

    That happens to me every once i a while. I have so many songs on my iPod and a lot of them go overlooked. I'll hit shuffle occasionally and something will pop out to me and I'll (re-)discover a band or artist and listen to all their works.

    This has been happening to me a lot lately, but it usually lasts for a week or two where I only listen to that one band - or at least more than others.

    This morning I put on some classic Kings of Leon - Youth and Manhood. Haven't listened to them in a long time.

    I seem to be getting a lot of Pearl Jam on shuffle today. I haven't settled down and listened to only that band, but it feels like every couple o' songs is one of theirs.

    Yup. I have a feeling its going to be a Jack White summer for me...can't get enough of his album, have it on re-peat non-stop in my car.

    I compiled a playlist from The Birthday Party, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Grinderman which ended up being 5 hours long. What a trip..... :mrgreen:
