Heres a fact. NYC is the most diverse city in the world culturally. Tell me where else in the world I can get indian-chinese food, korean bbq and then world class italian all within 5 miles. Theres more culture here than most places in the world. Settle down haters.
Toronto
Korean Grill House - 214 Queen St. West
Little India - 255 Queen St. West
Terroni - 720 Queen St. West
All three within 1 mile of each other. Within 5 miles I could probably list 10X the restaurants.

i can do that.
I get foriginalsin's point but I'm pretty sure I can too.
my point is....
everything in NY can be found outside of NY, however, alot of new yorkers (not all) like to believe new york is the center of the universe.

new york, LA....those places do nothing for me.
No argument from me. I am a lifelong suburbanite. I like having a yard and a driveway. Spend all day in the city and look forward to escaping it at 5pm.

:? There's a 3 square mile section of Queens that has more ethnicities than any other place in the world.
Not a competition, but let's get fact right.
Love Toronto. One of my favorite cities to visit. Always a good time.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Los Angeles and Houston are more diverse than NYC...

Actually, you're wrong. That is a FACT. Queens is the most diverse community in the world. FACT.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
I just wish if PJ were considering holding a free concert, they would at least do it where you can find good pizza.
Not taking that bait. BTW, NYC does Buffalo wings the best, also.
name the place please
I have to admit - that was a joke. But, I'm sure I could find 10 places in NYC that does wings as well or better. But, no, you got me there. I don't have one off the top of my head. But, just as sure that it's correct. I'm sure someone from the original Buffalo wings has passed it down to someone who's made his/her way to NYC. That's the beauty of it. Oops!!! Nevermind. We suck. You can't find anything you'd like here. Stay away. We suck!
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

And I'm still hoping this rumor remains just a rumor. I have a commitment on 9/29 which will prevent me from seeing this show and I will be a teeny bit bummed if I miss it.

Queens is one of the 5 boroughs of NYC. That's the point if we were talking overall city, it's not even a competition. I'm talking about 1 section of it. Remember, if NYC's boroughs (counties) were split into their own cities, Brooklyn would be the 3rd largest (Don't you remember your Welcome Back Kotter!?) and Queens the 4th largest populations in the country. Then, add in The Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island, and  that's The CITY. That's a lot of freaking people in a very small area.....
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Staten
From the Battery to the top of Manhattan
Asian, Middle-Eastern and Latin
Black, White, New York you make it happen
Brownstones, water towers, trees, skyscrapers

Diversity unified, whoever you are
We're doing fine on the One and Nine line

On the number Ten bus we fight and fuss
'Cause we're thorough in the boroughs and that's a must

Thats all I was trying to say.
If you havent tried it, you have to. It is fucking amazing. The best of both worlds you know?
But it is (the center of the universe): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pl ... e_Universe
As is Toronto. Boston, on the otherhand, is just a "hub" of the universe.
And the mayor of Wallace, Idaho apparently thinks his city is the center of the universe.
We should have a center-of-the-universe-off. :P

NYC doesn't need to make that claim. We couldn't care less. Toronto, Boston or Wallace can have that title.
Just as long as everyone knows what The Garden, The Stadium and The City means.
