Love it....
I just wish Sophie would lay down to watch it.
She goes over to the TV, looks around it and tries to get behind it, looking for the animals she sees.
Bubba seems to be the only one that see's the images on TV. And she's only interested if there are animals onShe'll take Dogs with Jobs over Wheel of Fortune any day

It also reminded me of a story I read a while back in a magazine I get called Sheltie Pacesetter (yes, it's true! I subscribe to a magazine about shelties! :shh: ).
I've posted a picture of one of the shelties we had many years ago named Tess.
Her coloring was a genetic defect called double merle. She was white with blue eyes. She was also born deaf. Many double merles are deaf or blind or both.
So I read this article about someone who had a double merle who was both deaf and blind. And what did they name him? TOMMY. Normally I love it when some of my interests overlap (The Who, dogs), but did they seriously have to name him Tommy? :fp:
I know it's wrong but I couldn't stop laughing about it. I kept thinking things like "That deaf dumb and blind dog sure plays a mean flyball." Or do they ever sing "Tommy can you hear me" to him? OK, I'll stop now. :shifty:"The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -

When people ask "Oh My God, How much does she eat?!?"
We tell them " Not that much, Just one small child a day!"I can't go the library anymore, everyone STINKS!!0 -
that is a big dog... and mine aren't exactly tiny!
More bad news with Gav this week, he's done a cruciate ligament and needs surgery :?
not scary the way the lump was but a pain, they keep telling me it never happens with greyhounds
except that obviously it has!
The big thing worrying me - apart from the cost obviously, but will deal with that - is that he has to be on complete bedrest until and for two after his surgery. He's a large and active dog. If I'm not still neither is he, and locking him up doesn't seem likely to work either. I also have the problem of his sister and what to do with her when he's on bed rest - if I leave her in the backyard alone when I'm not here she'll stress and be upset, but I don't think she'll be much better if I have to shut them both in.
any ideas, advice, anyone had a similar problem?I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!0 -
^^^^^ seems like about all you can do is drug him up :shifty:
good luck to you and gavin.
edit: gavin may not FEEL like doing anything..... maybe you won't need drugsIf I had known then what I know now...
