    I'm glad your Japanese maple is still alive!
    I love it when I add something to the yard and it thrives, don't you? :D

    The bark of the branches looks magenta. :)

    Yes AM--I love it when something lives in my yard!!! it's really hit or miss with me.

    and the trunk (if you can call it that--more like a twig at this stage) is more red than magenta.
    So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

    I printed out 400 of my tree pictures today. I'm finally putting them together in a few leather albums. The pictures are a good record of the scenery in Upstate NY! :)

    Thanks :) The tree is actually in a graveyard, if you look at the bottom of the photo you can see the tops of the headstones. Further proof that snow makes everything look beautiful!
