    X-Fest was "ex-Edgefest" (e.g. when 93.7 The Edge because 93X, EdgeFest became X-Fest). I remember going to X-Fest a lot, to see bands like Hatebreed and Sepultura.

    I love it that there are shows being announced. As our friend JimmyV says, "PJ shows anywhere is a good thing." I agree. I want PJ to play here - I'll take festivals, acoustic sets, whatever - but the fact that they're playing somewhere means I can possibly go see them. And if you haven't traveled to see PJ yet, I recommend saving up some cash and trying it some day. The experience of getting to a new city, meeting other 10c members, getting your tickets, seeing the fucking band around town (no joke) is like no other...

    Hopefully that won't be the case here and we'll get a show soon. After Ed's injury and the rescheduled solo shows, I thought that put the nail in the coffin for any US shows this fall. But now with the FL announcement (and maybe ATL too?), I could definitely see them putting a small September tour together with the Alpine dates (which I'd be fine with). That would leave EV and the guys with most of August off and most of October off. Ed's the one with the killer schedule this year.

    Anyway, here's hoping!

    I actually missed it as well - was at the Twins game with some friends that had no interest in MMJ, but man I was bummed I missed it.

    I picked up Blues Funeral on vinyl at the Electric Fetus on Saturday in hopes he would sign it at the show in May. :-)

    I'll be there! I missed them the last time they were here. So, I wasn't going to miss Social D this time. I just wish I knew they added a Friday night show before it sold out. I would've like to go both nights! I am super excited for the show too.
