My sister in law is 21, lives at home, and still doesn't have her license, because she is fucking lazy... and dependent. My whole life

I can't imagine anyone not wanting to drive a car the first chance they can get.blackredyellow wrote:Last-12-Exit wrote:A recent poll discovered that a growing number of 16 yr olds are not getting their drivers license. You know, I can see not going for it, if there's not a valid need (various alternatives of transportation, etc.) and if there aren't other priorities as previously mentioned.
Me, I put off driving as long as I could because at that age - 16, 17 - I was just...fucking scared...of driving. Of accidents. Of other people's stupidity. Of my own stupidity.
Even now, I still have dreams of being on the road and plunging, or of it being too dark out and not being able to see.
There are many reasons for delaying obtaining a license, or not getting one altogether. And as long as one isn't looking to others to unnecessarily provide for them, s'ok by me.0 -
