Yeah, that's how it goes. The Kenwood neighborhood to the south of the Walker Art Center hill has a 10pm curfew the festival must follow. My Morning Jacket was the headliner last year and played about fourteen songs. Def not worth PJ coming if they'll do setlists as long as the "Petty Jam" shows back in 2006.
I don't know...I of course want a full set, but I'd take a 14 song setlist...any day.

Agreed. They need to work out some of the new songs live before finalizing the album. Shit. I think that might seal the deal on any extensive fall US tour.
I'm still thinking that maybe we get some US shows in September and October, but Ed's voice will be shit if he pushes it. We know he takes his solo shows pretty seriously.
On the flip side, Ed's voice should be ultra fresh come June. 4th and 5th shows are in Amsterdam...I'm hoping he's fresh.
But I do think its likely we'll get something...some US shows at some point this year (e.g. Alpine). Will all you MN kids go to Alpine if they do announce some shows there again this Labor Day? We definitely will be.1998-06-30 Minneapolis

Well, the good news is, we're going to Amsterdam regardless of the PJ shows. Its our honeymoon, so PJ or not, we'll be there.

Ed's injury all but guarantees we won't be seeing PJ in MN until at least 2013. Stone said the album won't be done until next year as well. Obviously I want Ed to get better above anything but it sucks that we won't get any new PJ or a show here for likely another year.So this life is sacrifice...
