I will tell you why it DOES NOT look legit, the "paint" on the OP's pick is way too glossy, not matte. ABSOLUTELY a replica. I have 2 picks from Ed's hand himself which do not glisten like that. Sorry OP, but this is a replica you are selling.

Give me your picks to take a photo of them from 10cm with a flash and you'll see how they look like...anyway if you think they are fake there's nothing i can do about it...the story of the picks is all here by 100pacer and anyone is free to believe whatever he likes....i suppose that if i throw a give away topic you'll be the first to post for the pick...and for the record i have a second one evil knievel that is stage used...both are equally glossy or non glossy or whatever...

As I previously mentioned in this thread, the EV Evil Knievel guitar pick was handed to me by Ed shortly after he finished his set at the Artists for Peace & Justice private charity luncheon here in Toronto this past September 10. I neglected to ask Ed for a certificate of authenticity or harass him about taking a photo of him handing me the guitar pick for those naysayers out there. With the majority of PJ fans in town too preoccupied with lining up outside the Princess of Wales theatre waiting for the PJ20 premiere, there were only a handful of us at the luncheon venue:
In fact, later that night I even posted the list of songs Ed performed at the event because so few people were present (I also shared the fact that I was fortunate enough to have Ed sign my Benaroya Hall LPs).
I don't think I really need to say much else. I think Kostas (deftones) pretty much summed it all up, and it's unfortunate his thread was slightly derailed with baseless accusations.

All I can say is hat I DO have a fake, and I DO have 2 picks which I received personally from Ed's hand from two different tours. I have NOTHING invested in this dealing, nor do I have any problem with the person offering this up, but people should know that this pick does not match the characteristics of the two which I know to not be fake, and it DOES match characteristics of a KNOWN fake. flyinwhole313, I believe I understand what exactly has sparked your keen sense of investigative interest and thought it would be best to address the point you're trying to make. It needs to be said that several variations of Ed's Evil Knievel guitar pick have been produced for Ed and distributed to fans by Ed.
I think you're trying to draw attention to the fact the version of the pick on the right doesn't have the "badge" painted to the rim of the guitar pick whereas the pick on the left (the pick I received from Ed) does indeed have the "badge" painted right up to (and slightly over) the rim. Something for you to consider is the image of the pick Ed recently sent a fellow fan together with a signed photo (said fan shared the pic on the Porch) - take a look at the image below and be sure to zoom in over the guitar pick. I think you'll notice that one too has the paint extend up to and over the rim of the pick:
This isn't the "smoking gun" you're after in your quest to label the pick a fake. I have no doubt you're trying to do the right thing in hopes of raising awareness in the trading/buying marketplace to potential fake items out there; however, in this case your concern is not warranted.

No cause the right one wad used on stage and also was given to me as a gift. What does this prove to you, that the other is fake and that you're right? You didn't answer my questions though. Which one is more glossy? Does the pick from the other topic look like the right one of mine? No... Then how can they both be authentic? Maybe both of my picks are authentic?

100 Pacer has eyes and says that's the pick he sent me. Maybe you know better than him? Does he have a reason to prove me right if I am trading a different pick? Don't you think he would be the first to mention it here as it would be very easy for all to find out where I took the pick from as I posted about our transaction on the A+ topic a day before I started this topic? Maybe you got a fake pick and trying to prove all others fake instead? Are you calling me a liar man?

the one o the right, in this pic, is all pixelated/badly printed down at the bottom star. It would wellbe there's some patchy ones. I got 8 from EV and they weren't really like the one I had paid €50 for a few months before which was supposedly from the first solo tour, but what do i know he might have just had different batches made. it's not only likely, it's almost definite.
i know the one i have is real only because i got it from the man himself, its one of the ones he threw at toronto 2 this past canadian tour.
p.s. i know this post doesnt help the original poster in his quest but just felt like sharing
