as much as i am OBSESSED with pearl jam and have been for the last 16 years, i have to laugh at people saying "how dare anyone go to the bathroom during a pearl jam show?"

it's a CONCERT by a BAND of HUMAN BEINGS

as much as we act like they're gods, they are not

people are there to have fun, and if drinking/pissing is part of the fun, so be it

as great as the shows are, people should not be ashamed of or fight their natural urge to do something as natural as go to the bathroom

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!

Taking a piss during a concert should be illegal... leading to anyone being ejected from the venue that leaves their seat.

I myself almost had a kidney burst at Pearl Jam in 2006... heh...

You could make the argument that drinking so much that you have to keep leaving to piss and get more beer is disrespectful in itself. Doesn't matter which songs you choose to do so. On the other hand, a lot of people aren't so studious about listening to every solo or catching every rare tune. A good chunk of the fans you run into in every city are just rock fans who go to lots of shows.

I have more of a problem with the drunk pricks who piss on other people or fall all over the place and just make life miserable for people around them who are trying to enjoy the show.

It is the group think that gets me. If you have to go during Evenflow, you had to go five minutes before or five minutes after. It has become the "cool" thing to do, run out piss and get another beer.

What will these Evenflow pissers do if they don't play Evenflow, piss themselves?

the people who attended the show spent their hard earned money to be able to go......so they should be able to leave their seat and piss or do whatever whenever they want...

I've said this a few times, but when evenflow starts and everyone gets up and is in the bathroom, the band should stop in the middle of the song and start No Way or something.

I was blessed with a large bladder and I don't drink too much at PJ shows, so this isn't much of an issue for me. But obviously some people need to piss at some point, and Even Flow is probably your best option just because of the length and how often it's played.

A more interesting question would be, if they retired Even Flow what would be the new piss break song? Maybe Corduroy or Daughter...but you don't want to miss a sweet tag on Daughter.

I have to admit, it's my piss song as well. However, I think 'All Night' will be my new piss song going forward. And anyway, the majority of 'normal' folks feel the band=Ed, and don't really know or care about the 'master' or whatever the pit kids call him these days..

I totally agree. By the way, I play softball on Sunday mornings, and I just want to point out that Albert Pujols is a lousy hitter. The guy couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. And since I used to play touch football, I have to say that Peyton Manning throws like a girl

I do it too, traditionally, and I always will... until there becomes another song I have seen 30+ times, then I might stay for even flow and leave during that. I don;t think it's disrespectful. Why should anyone hold their piss and be uncomfortable?

I agree that maybe Last Kiss is a bathroom song as well, but they don;t play it EVERY SINGLE FUCKING NIGHT.
