Please release these new singles in Flac format too, instead of just MP3 format. The new Mike McCready and Star Anna song Keep On ; Po & the 4fathers Do ya & Kingdom Come tracks; many Ed & Stone solo works etc.. are available only in MP3 format. No Flac format.

Any chance of making them available in Lossless format?
Thanks!

    I concur. As it is, I refuse to buy MP3.

    You can burn them to a CD or there's any number of players that will play them now.

    Personally, I convert them to Apple Lossless for iTunes and my iPod. I can't believe people still use MP3 in 2012.

    If I a bigger hard-drive and had a programme that would play FLAC then I'd get FLAC over mp3 but I don't, so I'm still one of those using mp3's in 2012! ;)

    VLC, Media Player Classic, Songbird, Foobar2000... take your pick.

    Hard drive space is pretty cheap these days...

    Just sayin'.

    I've got a 1.5TB HD sitting here with all my music on it, all in lossless formats.

    Take the plunge, it's worth it - provided you have some decent headphones/speakers to properly enjoy it.

    Foobar 2000 is excellent. Really easy to use.
    The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits

    I've been debating getting a new hard-drive the last few weeks to be honest, need to have a proper look into it.

    FLAC is great, it's portable to Mac and PC.

    WAV (or PCM) is the original sound without data compression.

    WAV -> MP3
    Very portable but lossy compression; audiophiles don't like it, you're listening music with a condom in your ear.

    WAV -> FLAC
    Portable and lossless compression; I recommend foobar2000 too on Windows and X Lossless Decoder on Mac.

    Windows - http://www.foobar2000.org/download
    Mac - http://tmkk.pv.land.to/xld/index_e.html

    Both applications play and convert to FLAC and MP3.

    seeya!
    all you need is love
    I got some if you need it
